Connection Technology

PUSH IN or Tension Clamp

The connection type decides assembly hours more than any other single choice on the rail. Both are maintenance-free, they suit different builds.

PUSH IN suits high terminal counts with ferruled or solid conductors, tool-free insertion cuts wiring time on repeat builds.
Tension clamp suits fine-stranded or vibration-exposed wiring where the conductor may be re-terminated in service.
Mixing families across a site is what makes spares unmanageable, pick one standard per board type and hold it.
Standardisation
