IECEx Encoders for Hazardous areas
Kübler IECEx encoders are internationally certified to meet the Australian standards for hazardous areas.
IECEx encoders are used where flammable liquids, gases or combustible dusts are likely to occur such as Refineries, Gas power plants, Chemical plants, IECEx motors, Oil Platforms and Grain silos.
Kübler offer a full range of Zone 1/21 encoders that are suitable for this environment and additionally provide a range of encoders that have been certified with M2 Mining approval.
ATEX vs IECEx - What's the difference?
ATEX and IECEx are very similar, but there are some differences between each certification
The main difference is the geographical location where the certification is recognised and accepted.
- ATEX is a requirement in Europe
- IECEx is accepted across several countries internationally, including Australia and meets Australian standards.
