Condition Monitoring

Wireless Predictive Maintenance

Know an asset is failing weeks before it stops your plant

Unplanned failures on pumps, motors, fans and gearboxes rarely give warning you can see. Wireless condition monitoring puts vibration and temperature data from remote and hard-to-reach assets in front of your team, without running cable to every machine. Applies to fixed plant, remote sites and Ex-rated areas.

How Wireless Condition Monitoring Works

1

Step 1: Sensors Mount on the Asset

Battery-powered wireless vibration and temperature sensors bolt or magnet-mount to bearings, motors and gearboxes — including hazardous-area rated sensors for Ex zones. No cabling, no shutdown to install.

2

Step 2: Data Travels to Your Network

Sensors report to a gateway over a wireless mesh. Wireless I/O and IT communication hardware bridges the gap from remote field locations back to your control system or network — kilometres of cable avoided.

3

Step 3: Your Team Sees Trends and Alarms

Vibration trends, temperature rises and threshold alarms land in your SCADA, historian or a standalone dashboard. Remote I/O ties existing field signals into the same picture.

What Sites Get Out of It

Bearing and Motor Failures Caught Weeks Early

Rising vibration signatures flag developing faults long before audible noise or heat — repairs move to planned shutdowns.

Fewer Manual Inspection Rounds

Assets in remote, elevated or hazardous locations are monitored continuously instead of walked monthly.

No Trenching or Cabling Remote Assets

Wireless sensors and I/O remove the biggest cost line in monitoring far-flung equipment.

Ex-Zone Assets Monitored Compliantly

Certified hazardous-area sensors bring rotating equipment in classified zones into the same monitoring program.
