The BK400PS is a Smart Series Pull & Slack Trip type pull wire switch, manufactured from marine-grade LM6 powder coated aluminium. It stops a conveyor immediately in the event of a pull activation, slack wire, or wire break, using a single trip shaft where both ends connect to a tensioning spring to operate as a balanced system.
Internal components are made from stainless steel, nylon, copper and brass for strong corrosion resistance. The switch is SIL2 Capable (IEC 61508 certified) and complies with AS/NZS 4024.3610:2015 and BS EN ISO 13850:2008.
The BK400PS also integrates into the broader Smart Series conveyor safety ecosystem, pairing with monitoring nodes, pre-start sirens, and Smart Series Essentials like spring tensioning kits and control cable for a complete trip detection and indication solution.
