Pacific Automation Introduces Smart Series for Conveyor Control

Smart Series is a complete range of innovative solutions for conveyor control and safety.

Industrial electrical specialists Pacific Automation have launched their Smart Series brand, a range of products for the control, safety, and monitoring of conveyor belt operations.

The Smart Series range includes safety pull wire switches, belt rip & tear detection, belt misalignment detection, and a full range of conveyor monitoring devices and accessories.

Smart Series components are designed for use on all conveyor belts within the Australian mining sector.

All products are built for reliability and long life with low maintenance in harsh conditions. Safety devices comply with all relevant Australian Standards.

Field Service Engineer Johan Blignaut has worked on overland conveyor belts during a career spanning more than 20 years. This experience has been taken and applied to the design of the Smart Series components.


The result is a range of ultra-low maintenance devices, ideal for conveyors often exceeding 10km in length. Smart Series products also find application on shorter conveyor belts within mineral processing plants and bulk materials handling facilities.
