BES 517-134-M5-H (Order Code BES020K) is a cuboid inductive sensor measuring 120 x 40 x 40 mm, connected via an M20 cable gland (2.5 mm² connection cross-section) and rated for non-flush installation (size 40x40). It operates on an operating voltage Ub of 10...55 VDC (rated operating voltage Ue DC 24 V, rated operating current Ie 200 mA) and provides an NPN normally open/normally closed (NO/NC) switching output at a switching frequency of 60 Hz. The sensing distance is 30 mm (assured operating distance 24 mm, ±10% tolerance).
The sensor is rated IP67 for an ambient temperature range of -25...70°C (contamination scale 3), built to IEC 60947-5-2 with CE, UKCA and WEEE conformity. Housing and sensing surface are both PBT. Function and operating-voltage LED indicators are fitted, and the tightening torque is 4...5 Nm, with 0.8 Nm for the clamping screw.
