It starts before the order

Where does it run?

Washdown and dust, temperature, and whether objects can fall on it or a passer-by could catch it from the side.

Question two

What is it doing?

How many pedals, momentary or latching, whether it needs an enable function or an e-stop, and whether the operator stands at it all shift.

Question three

What if it is wrong?

An unintended start from a dropped tool, an operator at risk, a robot cell that fails EN ISO 10218-1, a switch replaced every year.

Offering insurance against a 20 kg weight dropped from one metre, Bernstein protective covers are fully shielded at the top and sides.

Protect against accidental operation from above by falling objects, or careless operation from the side.

When pressed beyond the pressure point, the make contact will interrupt and lock, requiring manual release to restart.

An optional accessory for one and two pedal versions. Pedal modification not required. Can be retrofitted.

Three-stage enabling

What is a three-stage enabling foot switch?

A three-stage enabling foot switch allows machine movement only when the pedal is held in its middle position.
