More Visibility, Faster Ordering, Better Delivery: Inside Our Website Update

You may have noticed, but pacificautomation.com.au has changed. In December we launched our brand new website update aimed at adding more features, and making the process easier for our customers.

In December we launched our brand new website update aimed at adding more features, and making the process easier for our customers. 

To date the update has been a huge success, and we aren’t done yet. The website is still evolving and there’s more features to be added in the coming months. If you haven’t yet had a chance to dive deep on what has changed, here’s a rundown of what’s now possible with pacificautomation.com.au, and some of the updates we’ve got in the pipeline. 

Stock Visibility

Now you can see whether an item is in stock directly on the product page, including which warehouse it’s available from. This helps to increase visibility allowing customers to plan accordingly. If an item isn’t in stock then you can request a quote from the cart screen where a member of our staff will get in touch, helping to clear up expectations.

Product Evaluation

When researching products, you can now get all of the technical information required without ever needing to leave the website thanks to the resources section. Here you can find and download technical information like datasheets, instruction manuals, and certificates. 

Quick Ordering

If you know the product number that you’re after you now have the ability to quickly order what you need without any need to search the site. Through the account page you can use the quick order box to insert an item name or code and instantly add it to your card. Here you can also bulk add items, or create a shopping list so you can easily add items that you regularly purchase. It’s all about making things convenient for the customer. 

Delivery Options

Now when you order from the website you’ve got options for how and when to receive your items. You can choose to send them to an address, or collect them from one of our warehouses, whichever is more convenient for you. Furthermore, you can leave notes informing us whether you need special arrangements, so that we can do our best to accommodate. 

Paying Invoices

You can pay invoices through the account screen via one of the multiple payment methods we offer, and you can also pay multiple invoices at once.

What We Have Planned

While we have several features planned for the website, the biggest one we’re working on is live tracking of your orders. Alongside this, we're improving how we communicate lead times, so whether you're placing a backorder or your pre-purchase, you'll always know what to expect and when. 

All of these updates serve the purpose of our brand promise. The right product, on time. Expect to see more changes throughout the remainder of 2026.
