BES Q80KA-PSH50F-S04Q (Order Code BES0228) is a cuboid inductive sensor measuring 106 x 80 x 40 mm, rated for non-flush installation (size 80x80) and connected via an M12 connector (4-pin, A-coded). It operates on an operating voltage Ub of 10...55 VDC (rated operating voltage Ue DC 24 V, rated operating current Ie 200 mA) and provides a PNP normally open (NO) switching output at a switching frequency of 50 Hz. The sensing distance is 50 mm (assured operating distance 40 mm, ±10% tolerance).
The sensor is rated IP67 for an ambient temperature range of -25...70°C (contamination scale 3), built to IEC 60947-5-2 with CE, UKCA and WEEE conformity. Housing and sensing surface are both PBT GF30, and the stated MTTF at 40°C is 785 years. Function and operating-voltage LED indicators are fitted, and the tightening torque is 3 Nm; the datasheet notes it is not for flush mounting and references separate installation instructions for extended-range inductive sensors.
