BES Q40KEU-NAH20B-S04G-001 (Order Code BES022W) is a cuboid inductive sensor measuring 40 x 40 x 40 mm, rated for flush mounting (size 40x40) and connected via an M12 connector (4-pin, A-coded). It operates on an operating voltage Ub of 10...55 VDC (rated operating voltage Ue DC 24 V, rated operating current Ie 200 mA) and provides an NPN normally open/normally closed (NO/NC) switching output at a switching frequency of 50 Hz. The sensing distance is 20 mm (assured operating distance 16 mm, ±10% tolerance).
The sensor is rated IP67 for an ambient temperature range of -25...70°C (contamination scale 3), built to IEC 60947-5-2 with CE, UKCA, cULus and WEEE conformity. Housing and sensing surface are both PBT, and the stated MTTF at 40°C is 265 years. Function and operating-voltage LED indicators are fitted.
