Freeze Protection & Temperature Maintenance
Nothing freezes overnight and nothing falls out of spec
A frozen instrument line or a batch outside temperature spec costs a shift, not a component — and it always happens on the coldest night of the year. Electric heat trace, immersion heating and pre-traced tubing bundles hold pipes, vessels and instrument lines at temperature, including inside hazardous areas.
How Freeze Protection and Temperature Maintenance Works
Trace the line, heat the vessel, protect the instruments.
Trace the Line
Heat trace cable runs the length of the pipework and adds back exactly the heat the line loses — sized from pipe diameter, insulation and the coldest ambient you get.
Heat the Vessel or Medium
Immersion heating brings tanks, process fluids and storage vessels up to temperature and holds them there — sized to duty, not chosen off a shelf.
Protect Instrument and Impulse Lines
Pre-insulated, pre-traced tubing bundles keep analyser and impulse lines flowing and reading accurately in freezing conditions.
What Sites Get Out of It
The outcomes that matter on site.
No Frozen Lines When Winter Hits
Frost protection engineered in — not discovered missing during the first cold snap.
Process Temperature Held Within Spec
Product stays flowable and in-spec through pipework, vessels and transfer lines.
Hazardous-Area Certified Heating
Trace and heating systems for certified zones — one compliance conversation, not two.
Instrument Readings You Can Trust in the Cold
Traced tubing bundles stop impulse-line freezing that corrupts pressure and flow measurement.

Reliable Gas Sampling at a NSW Gas Storage Facility
Sampling and carrier gas lines had to run 50 metres from the storage racks to the chromatograph analysers, hold sample temperature the whole way, and meet Zone 2 IIA T1 Gc. A Thermon BSX-8-2 analyser bundle carried the sampling line; an SP/MP stream-traced multi-tube bundle consolidated hydrogen, nitrogen and zero air into one run, cutting fittings and leak points.
