Hazardous Area Breather Drains

Breather drains are utilised to provide an outlet for liquids from within equipment susceptible to moisture collection. By enabling equipment to drain and breathe, pressure compensation is ensured between enclosure and the surrounding atmosphere. Breather drains are ideal for environments subject to temperature fluctuations or high humidity.

Relevant protection levels can be maintained by using suitably certified breather drains. CMP breather drains are available for maintaining both Ex d (781D) and Ex e (781E) protection within hazardous areas.
