Suitable for high requirements in industrial applications. Existing mounting holes provide the option of screwing the foot switches to the base. Each foot switch is equipped with four rubber feet to prevent slipping. In the case of multi-pedal foot switches, crossbars prevent the unintentional simultaneous actuation of several pedals (versions without crossbars on request) The foot levers are made of thermoPlastic. A die-cast aluminium protection shroud completely shields the pedal from the top and sides and, with its wide projection, ensures a high degree of stability. Accidental actuation by falling objects from above or carelessness from the side is thus prevented. Due to its stability, the bonnet can withstand a drop weight of 20kg from a height of 1m. Foot switch with safety catch and manual release: Actuation of the pedal up to the pressure point: The working contact is closed, the working process is initiated. In an emergency situation, actuation beyond the resistance of the pressure point: The working contact is interrupted and locked, the working process interrupted. Even if the pedal is not actuated, the interlock remains in the OFF position in this phase. An uncontrolled restart or a new start of moving machine parts is thus safely avoided. Unlocking: Only after the hazardous situation has been eliminated does manual unlocking (push button on the side of the housing) release the Contacts again. The work process can be restarted by pressing the pedal to the pressure point. Foot switches with increased protection class are dust-tight and protected against permanent submersion.
