Pacific Automation is once again bringing a focus on food safety and sustainability at this year’s Foodservice Australia event in Melbourne from 23-25 June at the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre through its partnership with the Swiss-engineered automatic hand washing system manufacturer, Smixin.
Driven by sustainability, Smixin’s mission is to save 10 billion litres of water by 2021. And it also focuses on hygiene.
How does it work?
Focused on sustainability, hygiene and economics, Smixin’s mixing units automatically mix water, soap and air – and are touch-free – making them ideal for the food and facilities management industries.
The systems focus on:
- Hygiene – they’re 100% touch-free, which eliminates the risk of germs transmission/contamination.
- Connectivity – equipped with beacons linked to the Cloud to enable real-time, remote monitoring of consumables levels.
- Sustainability – conceived to save massive resources, their mission is to save 10 billion litres of water by 2021.
- Economics – owners & facility managers can achieve costs savings
Pacific Automation General Manager Stephen Armstrong said, “We were so impressed with these products we wanted to be the company to introduce them to the Australian market. I have no doubt this product range will become a leading technology for sustainability through its incredible water, energy and productivity savings – as well as the hygiene and health benefits.”
Smixin products have been used around the world in retail and commercial applications, including airports, railway stations, schools and cafes.
