Level Sensing

Pacific Automation has a wide range of level sensing products utilising a number of technologies.  As well as the measurement of standard materials, there is a range of speciality products to measure difficult mediums such as hot glue.  For assistance in selecting the correct technology for your application please contact us.

Capacitive Level Sensing

Capacitance level sensing relies on a cable or probe being immersed in a medium to detect the level and are available in either continuous monitoring or set point models.  Pacific Automation supplies systems from Rechner and Delavan. image

Point Level Detection

Point Level Detection utilises the transmission and reception of ultrasonic or microwave frequencies across a chute/tank.  Once the material being measured reaches a certain point, it blocks the signal and trips the system.  Pacific Automation supplies ultrasonic and microwave systems from Delavan. image

Linear Transducers

Linear Transducers can be used in conjunction with a float to measure liquid mediums.  As the float rises and falls with the liquid, the transducer provides a continuous analogue output reflecting the changes. image

Float Switches

Pacific Automation is able to provide a range of float switches and accessories for the measurement of liquids.  Float switches provide set point measurement and can be used in pairs for high/low systems. image
