Level Sensing
Pacific Automation has a wide range of level sensing products utilising a number of technologies. As well as the measurement of standard materials, there is a range of speciality products to measure difficult mediums such as hot glue. For assistance in selecting the correct technology for your application please contact us.
Capacitive Level Sensing
| Capacitance level sensing relies on a cable or probe being immersed in a medium to detect the level and are available in either continuous monitoring or set point models. Pacific Automation supplies systems from Rechner and Delavan. | ![]() |
Point Level Detection
| Point Level Detection utilises the transmission and reception of ultrasonic or microwave frequencies across a chute/tank. Once the material being measured reaches a certain point, it blocks the signal and trips the system. Pacific Automation supplies ultrasonic and microwave systems from Delavan. | ![]() |
Linear Transducers
| Linear Transducers can be used in conjunction with a float to measure liquid mediums. As the float rises and falls with the liquid, the transducer provides a continuous analogue output reflecting the changes. | ![]() |
Float Switches
| Pacific Automation is able to provide a range of float switches and accessories for the measurement of liquids. Float switches provide set point measurement and can be used in pairs for high/low systems. | ![]() |
