Pacific Automation is the Australian distributor for Rechner, a German manufacturer of sensors specialising in capacitance with over 30% of the German plastic sensing market.

Founded in 1965, Rechner developed a range on capacitance sensors that were far more advanced than any competitors at that time.  Through constant innovation, research and development, Rechner is still the market leader in capacitive technology.  Over the years their range has expanded to include inductive, opto-electronic, calorimetric and magneto-resistive sensors.
