RFID INC’s Smart Reader product is part of their Passive RFID range.  The video below is a demonstration created to demonstrate the speed at which the networked antennas can respond.

The Smart Reader system can accommodate up to 32 antennas which are hooked up on a bus system.  The reader itself is available with a number of industrial communications protocols for connection to existing PLC, DCS or SCADA systems.
